The books

One week at a time.

Every book is built around the week: what you did, how it went, and what you'd change next time.

Running journals

Triathlon logs

Why paper

The part of training that isn't data.

What the numbers miss

Which shoes you were in, how you slept, what you ate, and the niggle that started on Tuesday. A line a day is enough to spot the pattern.

Weeks, then blocks

Every week is totalled and reviewed, and every four weeks you look back at the block, because four-week trends are real and single weeks are mostly noise.

Your plan, not ours

The logs hold whatever plan you follow, or none at all. The sessions come from your coach, a published plan or your own head, and the pages record them.

Look inside

Laid out for the way you train.

An open spread from the Half-Distance Triathlon Log: the week 1 plan page and Monday's daily entry
The Half-Distance Triathlon Log. Each week opens with a plan page, then daily entries with room for two sessions.

From the makers of Exersio

Plan it in the app. Write it down here.

Exersio builds a training plan around your week and guides every session on iPhone and Apple Watch. These logs are where you record how it actually went. .

Questions

Which one should I get?

For running, the 52-Week Running Journal is undated and starts whenever you do; the 2027 Running Journal is the same book with every day of 2027 printed in. For triathlon, pick the log that matches your race: the Standard-Distance log for a 16-week block (1500 m swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run), or the Half-Distance log for a 20-week middle-distance block.

Do they come with a training plan?

No. Each log holds whatever plan you follow, from a coach, a book, an app or your own head, and gives you the pages to record it. The triathlon logs add a plan page each week, so you can set what you planned against what you did. If you want a plan, Exersio builds one around your week.

Kilometres or miles?

In the running journals, either: the distance columns have no unit, so cross out the one you don't use on the profile page and the whole book reads in the other. The triathlon logs are metric throughout (km, kg and cm).

How big are they?

Every book is a 7 × 10 inch paperback (about 18 × 25 cm), large enough for a full week on a spread and small enough for a kit bag.

Where can I buy them?

On Amazon. Each book is printed on demand in your region, so it ships like any other Amazon order. The Buy buttons on this site pick your country's Amazon store for you, and every book page lists the other stores too, in case you'd rather order from another one.
