Messages you send us

If you use the contact form, we receive what you type: your email address, and your name, topic and message. We use them only to reply to you. Our lawful basis is your consent; you can ask us to delete your details at any time by emailing us.

Form submissions are stored by our website host, Netlify, Inc., on our behalf. Netlify may store data outside the UK, under its data processing agreement and the UK's international transfer safeguards. We keep messages for as long as needed to help you, then delete them.

Buying a book

The Buy buttons take you to Amazon. We never see your order, payment or delivery details; Amazon handles them under its own privacy notice. To send you to your own country's Amazon store, the site reads your device's time zone and your browser's language setting. That happens in your browser and is never sent to us.

Visitor statistics

We may count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you or follow you across sites. Like any website, our host keeps short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses) for security.

Cookies and storage

This website sets no cookies and saves nothing in your browser. Light and dark follow your device's own setting.

Exersio

The Exersio app and its website, exersio.co.uk, have their own privacy policy, published there.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete anything we hold about you by emailing us. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
